Jerome Deppe is a painter, photographer and songwriter residing in Baltimore Maryland. Well traveled and no stranger to controversy, Jerome has been a fixture on the avant-garde music scene since the early 1980s. An alumnus of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC Jerome has been involved in the proliferation of cutting edge imagery and is a vociferous proponent of free speech and free cultural expression. With the creation of his multi media creation of pathos and despair "Showtunes for the Damned", Jerome has again crossed over boundaries and forged a new method of artistic expression.

Showtunes for the Damned is Jerome’s fourth full-length collection since the beginning of his solo career in 1999, but the first to be released in graphic novel form.
